Featuring a full-range reflector and enhanced dual-circular polarizer, the VS60 covers the entire 3.5GHz commercial Ka-band spectrum (Rx 17.7–21.2 GHz / Tx 27.5–31.0 GHz) to maximize data throughput for critical applications.
Streamlined Single Cable Setup
Utilizing MoCA 2.0 technology, a single coax cable delivers Tx, Rx, and 48V DC power externally at the radome base, eliminating the need to open the radome and drastically reducing installation time.
Inmarsat NexusWave Bonded Connectivity Ready
The VS60 is fully ready for Inmarsat NexusWave, integrating seamlessly into a multi-orbit, multi-band bonded network architecture. By combining ViaSat-3 Ka-band capacity with LEO, LTE, and L-band resilience, the terminal ensures uninterrupted, always-on connectivity, enabling an office-like and home-like internet experience for crew welfare, operational data management, and mission-critical vessel communications anywhere at sea.
Smart Operations with AptusNX Management
Powered by Intellian’s AptusNX software, the VS60 offers intuitive web-based control, real-time diagnostics, and automated commissioning wizards. AptusNX automatically compensates for cable loss, executes self-diagnostics, and sends predictive maintenance alerts to the Network Operations Center (NOC) before issues occur, maximizing fleet operational efficiency and reducing total cost of ownership.
Mission-Critical Security & Military Hardening
Designed for demanding environments, the VS60 incorporates multi-layered cybersecurity, including encrypted communications, DevSecOps compliance, and strict access controls. Its ruggedized 3-axis stabilized platform meets IPX6, EN60945, and MIL-STD-810H shock and vibration standards, safeguarding operational integrity against harsh sea conditions, extreme weather, and physical tampering.
Compact SWaP Footprint for Fleets
With a compact 65cm reflector footprint (86cm radome diameter) weighing under 43kg, the VS60 easily fits confined deck spaces on commercial ships, offshore vessels, and fishing boats. Paired with a 1U rack-mount Below Deck Unit (BDU), the system minimizes top-weight and below-deck space requirements while lowering logistics, installation, and field labor costs.
