Intellian NexusWave Terminal
Intellian’s VS60 terminal is engineered to harness the next era of high-capacity GEO satellite connectivity and Inmarsat NexusWave's bonded multi-network service. Optimized for Viasat's ultra-high-capacity ViaSat-3 Ka-band constellation, the terminal delivers high-speed, reliable broadband to commercial shipping, offshore vessels, and maritime fleets worldwide.
Next-Generation Bonded Multi-Network Service
Inmarsat NexusWave combines ViaSat-3 GEO Ka-band capacity with LEO, LTE, and L-band resilience into a single, seamless connectivity solution. This multi-network architecture eliminates connection dropouts to support bandwidth-intensive applications, operational data management, enterprise networking, and crew welfare streaming across global shipping routes.
Ultra-High-Capacity ViaSat-3 Network Integration
Powered by the ViaSat-3 constellation, the network utilizes over 1,000 steerable spot beams per satellite to dynamically move capacity where demand is highest across busy ports and ocean lanes. Intellian terminals are engineered with 3.5GHz wideband Ka-band coverage (Rx 17.7–21.2 GHz / Tx 27.5–31.0 GHz) to fully harness this ultra-high-throughput constellation.
Reliable Terminal Design
The Intellian VS60 unifies the modem and high-power transceiver into a single Above Deck Unit module to eliminate below-deck clutter, minimize latency, and remove power calibration during setup. Built with an 'All in One' architecture, it simplifies system management while reducing field labor and maintenance costs. Operational efficiency is further enhanced by intuitive AptusNX software, which provides web-based control, self-diagnostics, and automated commissioning wizards.
Enterprise-Grade Security & Environmental Hardening
To safeguard operational integrity, the solution incorporates multi-layer security protections, strict access management, and encrypted communications. The terminal's 3-axis stabilized platform meets IPX6, EN60945, and MIL-STD-810H standards to withstand extreme weather, shock, and vibration in harsh maritime environments.
