GMDSS was fully implemented by the IMO in 1999. Since then, technology has evolved significantly, yet for much of the mandated safety equipment there’s been little change.
With the IMO now embracing digital solutions, Intellian is leading this evolution and developing a range of new GMDSS equipment including VHF and MF/HF radios, in addition to Safety Display Terminals (SDT) and NAVTEX. Our focus in defining and developing this new series of GMDSS products is robustness, reliability and

Satellite Safety Display Terminal (SDT)
