Emerging Connectivity Sales Manager (Land & Enterprise)

The primary role of the Sales Manager is to drive growth through planning & managing the sales pipeline of accounts, facilitating the sales process, defining marketing and support requirements, and managing the sales channel, both direct and in-direct.
- Day-to-day management of Accounts for all products, ensuring that each territory is governed in a highly reactive and professional manner.
- Own and assist with strategic planning into new market verticals (Land/Enterprise)
- Lead new business opportunities in Land and Enterprise
- Development for accounts including forecasts, sales strategies & tactics.
- Drive new business areas such as LEO/MEO/GEO constellations with new Intellian products and service capabilities via existing and new distribution channels
- Develop key account sales plan, including competitive position, key stakeholders and strategy to increase market share.
- Efficient utilization of the back-office and service teams to ensure that each respective customer receives the highest possible level of service.
- Ensuring realistic forecasts for each respective account and advising any significant changes in development
- Conduct and manage regular and timely sales calls to each account, identifying strategic accounts that require a higher presence to mature effectively.
- Timely provisioning of quotations in accordance with pricing guidelines, providing the most effective response and price point for each respective opportunity.
- Regular review to ensure the sales pipeline is filled with opportunities at various stages of the sales cycle with effective funnel management for the territory.
- Assessing sales opportunities early in the sales cycle and working effectively to mature each respective sales opportunity.
- Utilizing a CRM system to ensure manage all sales opportunities and overall account management
- Develop a healthy partnership with key decision-makers for each respective account
- Ensuring pricing and margins are in line with corporate guidelines.
- Reach forecasted sales targets on time and in time.
- Minimum 8-10 years of sales experience with a solid understanding of the Maritime market.
- Ideally connected to strategic contacts within the various verticals within the Maritime Industry.
- Proven and visible track record to reach assigned sales targets.
- Excellent commercial skills with an ability to think creatively to mature sales opportunities.
- High level of self-motivation and enthusiasm and capable of working within a team environment.
- Positive attitude, cooperative, and willing to comply with the company policies and procedures.
- Professional written/verbal communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to draw logical conclusions from a limited amount of data available.
- Excellent computer skills and the ability to present and manipulate data in MS Excel as required
